Locii Solutions has a dedicated fully-equipped training facility in our Nicosia offices, from which we offer training to our Locii Insight customers as well as to other business IT users.
Our main focus is on offering Microsoft Excel courses for business users. Excel remains the premier spreadsheet application for businesses and an invaluable tool in the operations of most companies, even those which have made major investments in other IT systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions.
For end users of our flagship Business Intelligence product, Locii Insight, we provide training courses on how to interact with the BI solution through Excel.
In all cases, we custom design our training courses around the client's requirements so as to deliver a rapid payback on the investment in training.
The courses are designed to take into account the level of expertise of the trainees, and we highly recommend that users at a similar level of knowledge are sent to any specific course. We have courses to suit almost any level of expertise, from Excel power-users who want to learn about using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) scripting, to beginners who need to be taught the basics of interacting with the Excel application.
Throughout the training we encourage questions specifically related to the issues faced by your business and can even incorporate your business data into the training course to increase the benefits to your employees. This is normal for our Locii Insight customers, where we incorporate data from the BI solution to enhance the training experience.
We set homework, check understanding and maintain contact with the students even after they have completed their training. We encourage the use of the "train-the-trainer" approach, so that a small number of experts can spread their knowledge throughout the company and thus maximise the impact of your investment in training.
We generally conduct the training at our training facility, which can accommodate up to 12 students. We can also carry out training at your company's premises if a suitable training facility is available. In our experience, in order to achieve the best impact, training courses should be broken down into short sessions. This enables students to practice their new skills before returning to the classroom. Therefore, our courses tend to consist of 3 - 4hours sessions. The timing of the training is up to you. At our training facilities we offer morning, afternoon and evening sessions.
